- Supports process improvement for the management, routing, and tracking of NNSA's official correspondence and classified documents. This will involve critical thinking and problem solving to develop new business processes including automation, efficiency, and optimization.
- Responsible for operation of the Classified Document Control Station.
- Serves as an expert for classified operations and document processing, packaging, accountability, marking and storing classified documents.
- Supports inventory management and classified document accountability.
- Collaborates with program offices across NNSA to receive input to official correspondence.
- Supports the development of briefing books and day books for the NNSA Administrator, Principal Deputy Administrator, Associate Principal Deputy Administrator, and Chief of Staff.
- Supports FOIA case management when needed.
- The work performed under this contract will closely support the new NNSA Administrator and their vision for NNSA, and may include redesigning business process, optimizing workflows, approvals, and concurrences by the Administrator and supporting program office Directors.
- The position will be located on site at the DOE/NNSA Forrestal Headquarters building in Washington, D.C; M-F 8AM - 5PM.
- Must possess a DOE Q Clearance or DOD TS Clearance.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in similarly complex roles.
- Must possess excellent writing skills, critical thinking abilities, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Must possess a strong understanding of classified document handling requirements.
- Must be proficient in standard business applications such as MS Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of the missions, scopes, responsibilities of individual NNSA program offices is a plus.
- Proficiency in advanced business applications such as Access, SharePoint, Power BI, Tableau, and others is a plus.
- Coding / Scripting experience is a plus.
