Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on applications and systems efficiently and effectively.
• Perform both remote and on-site assessments across various systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities.
• Analyze detected vulnerabilities and devise robust mitigation strategies.
• Provide detailed reports that outline findings, associated risks, and actionable security recommendations.
• Advise stakeholders on security best practices to reduce potential threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure thorough assessments based on testing requirements.
• Innovate and implement new methods, scripts, and tools for penetration testing to enhance efficiency.
• Manage and deploy the Splunk infrastructure to ensure optimal data collection across systems.
• Oversee the configuration and server management for distributing Splunk Universal Forwarder instances and syslog servers.
• Implement Splunk Heavy Forwarders for data integration from databases and third-party systems.
• Configure and utilize the Splunk HTTP Event Collector to gather data from custom applications.
• Capture wire data using Splunk Stream to derive insights from raw or statistical data.
• Oversee the re-architecture of syslog aggregation for Splunk, modifying configurations for high availability and new storage setups.
• Expand log source collection for existing data and integrate new sources as necessary.
• Develop custom scripts to bolster data collection and integrate non-standard products into the Splunk ecosystem.
