Job Description:

The North Carolina Department of Information Technology (NCDIT-T) Web Systems team is seeking a QA Analyst to support our Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and web development initiatives. This role will focus on testing web applications, ensuring functionality, usability, and web accessibility compliance. The Technical Specialist - Junior will also assist with troubleshooting issues for end-users and contribute to process documentation and training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of SharePoint solutions and Microsoft 365 integrations to verify functionality, usability, and accessibility.
  • Develop, execute, and document test cases, test plans, and test scripts while ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects; collaborate with developers to validate fixes and enhance system performance.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with stakeholders and gathering feedback to improve system functionality.
  • Assist with troubleshooting basic technical issues and provide end-user support.
  • Contribute to the creation of user guides, training materials, and process documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and user adoption.
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions to ensure efficient collaboration and effective communication of testing needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with software testing methodologies and documentation of test results.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and end-users.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Experience with Vue.js and Pinia for Vue.js 4 Years (Required)
  • Technical Experience with Angular.js 4 Years (Required)
  • Deep knowledge of front-end development in CSS and JavaScript 4 Years (Required)
  • Good practical experience with SharePoint on-premise 4 Years (Required)
  • Able to provide clear Prototyping and Mockups 4 Years (Required)
  • Good practical experience with end user testing 4 Years (Required)
