Senior Infrastructure Engineer Automation & System Design

Scope of Responsibilities:

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for independent execution and oversight of infrastructure design, development, and technical solutions within the organization. This includes ensuring solutions meet or exceed business needs and ensuring high standards in documentation, system design, and security.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technology management, senior engineers, and support teams to design, develop, and implement technical solutions.
• Conduct infrastructure reviews, implement designs, create architectural documentation, and define policies, standards, and testing strategies.
• Independently interact with business partners of varying levels to ensure clarity of issues and elicit business requirements.
• Coordinate vendor interactions and manage vendor resources as needed.
• Mentor less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators; review documentation and proposals from junior staff.
• Continuously expand knowledge of Financial Services trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Promote adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of banking applications, systems, and vendor technologies and services.
• Understand and follow the company s risk and regulatory standards, escalating risk-related issues when necessary.
• Contribute to maintaining the company's internal control standards, implementing audit points, and addressing issues raised by regulators.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

• A combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or professional work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Ansible, Pipelines, and Automation.
