Shopbop, an Amazon subsidiary, is looking for a meticulous and diagnostic Digital Marketing Planner to own forecasting, reporting, and Digital Marketing analytics. This role will provide analytical and technical expertise to the broader marketing organization, delivering marketing channel insights & trends while streamlining current processes. The right candidate is proactive, reliable, and highly organized, with the ability to excel in a fast -paced environment. The candidate will collaborate across teams and support the creation of an environment that inspires performance excellence and bold ideas. This role reports into the Head of Digital Media.

Key job responsibilities

  • Owns and manages the forecasting and budgeting of Digital Marketing activities, working in tandem with channel owners, finance, agency, and merchandise partners.
  • Oversees marketing budget and communication of forecasts and strategies to business leadership, identifying when strategies are off track.
  • Responsible for Digital Marketing reporting inclusive of weekly business reviews, monthly business reviews, annual reviews, and ad hoc requests.
  • Partner with Head of Digital Media and other channel partners to develop a test and learn agenda, providing insights, results, and ideas to improve performance.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to streamline forecasting and reporting, creating efficiencies while maintaining accuracy.
  • Responsible for development of measurement methodology across mid to upper funnel campaigns to track effectiveness of these efforts.
  • Support onboarding and maintenance of MMM with agency support.
  • Advocate for Digital Marketing team with analytics and tech on high priority objectives and urgent issues.
  • Lead training for junior team members for reporting and basic forecasting needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6-7 years of work experience in planning or analytics
  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Experience with analytical and database tools
  • Understanding of digital marketing programs
  • Strong interpersonal, partnership and management skills
  • Excellent project management capabilities including multi-tasking, prioritization and organization skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Marketing, Finance, Statistics or Economics
  • Working knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
