Job Duties

As Scum Master, you will provide day-to-day leadership and oversight to a DevSecOps teams, working closely with developers, Customer Experience designers, and security engineers to ensure Sprint commitments are met in accordance with acceptance criteria. You will partner and work closely with your Government Product Owners to capture their requirements in user stories that your team can deliver against within the committed Sprint(s). You will serve as the customer focal point for accountability, escalation and resolution for your Government Product Owners. You will facilitate the resolution delivery issues to ensure Sprint commitment are met, act as the client advocate, mediate and resolve cross team conflicts, work with our government client to foster and implement best practices, and to introduce and implement innovative approaches to mission challenges.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years or Master’s Degree and 8 years of relevant experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance under GSA regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification in Agile software development methods.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Agile, and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, especially those that support scaling Agile to an enterprise such as the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Demonstrated experience in using an Agile development framework including task estimation, test automation, deployment automation and Continuous Integration to improve overall execution speed and product quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to orchestrate the management of technology scope and risks.
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring that the technical expectations of deliverables are met through Agile processes; additionally, support the continuous improvement of those processes.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering agile software solutions using best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Adaptable Software Design.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in highly political and dynamic environments
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and lead team in accomplishment of multiple simultaneous complex activities
  • Demonstrated ability to foster coalitions between conflicting stakeholder groups and facilitate conflict resolution through commitment to shared goals
  • Demonstrated communication and client relationship skills, adaptable from end users to engineers to C-level executives and Federal Senior Executives

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with GSA Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) systems, Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) IT, or Technology Transformation Service (TTS)
  • Experience with GSA’s FCS (FAS Cloud Services)
  • AWS Cloud experience and certifications
  • An understanding of the business processes and tools supporting federal acquisitions Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Target salary range $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
