About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Swiss Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting Swiss CNC machines, specifically Tornos Deco and Citizen Swiss lathes. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. CNC programming experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Operation:

  • Set up and operate Tornos Deco and Citizen Swiss CNC machines
  • Perform first article inspections to ensure accuracy
  • Troubleshoot maintenance and quality issues to minimize downtime

Production & Quality Control

  • Follow production schedules and meet output targets
  • Ensure all manufactured parts meet quality standards and customer specifications
  • Utilize precision measuring tools (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and production processes

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identify and suggest process improvements for increased efficiency and quality
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding production and procedural issues
  • Assist in training and mentoring other machinists

Maintenance & Compliance

  • Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a CNC Swiss machining environment

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
