As a Financial Advisor II (Lead Financial Advisor), you will be the primary manager of client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor while also supporting other senior advisors. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing client relationships, and delivering tailored financial guidance. At Savant, we are committed to supporting our employees' as well as investing in their well-being and growth. We take a market-based approach to compensation. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $100,000 - 120,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role is eligible for additional compensation through the Advisory Incentive program which will be discussed in greater detail by the recruitment team.

The Financial Advisor can expect to focus in the following areas:
- Serve as a lead advisor and co-advisor in working with existing clients, fulfilling responsibilities outlined in the Savant Core Advisory Career Path.
- Responsible for profitable delivery of our service models as defined in Savant Service and Segmentation Guidelines and according to the “The Savant Way”
- Provides world-class service, hosts client meetings, optimizes a book of business, and enhances serving skills.
- Participates in and/or leads “The Discovery Interview”, the “My Ideal Future” discussions and other strategic onboarding processes
- Serves as a liaison to Planning Team for clients
- Focuses on business development through network development, client referrals, and enhancing wallet share.
Our Financial Advisor role typically requires the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in investment management, financial planning or financial services with demonstrated ability to develop and manage plans and manage client relationships
- Certified Financial Planner designation preferred upon hire.
- All Financial Advisor applicants must of a clean U4 with no disclosures.
- Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment and experience
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Client-first attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as financial planning and securities balancing software
- A team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
