Maintenance Technician Helper job responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the maintenance of client grounds, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing lawns, as well as weeding and mulching landscape beds.
- Trimming trees, hedges, shrubs, and removing unwanted or damaged plants.
- Performing snow removal activities, such as shoveling, spreading salt, and ensuring safe entryways.
- Operating and maintaining lawn equipment (tractors, mowers, trimmers) and supporting fleet/vehicle maintenance.
- Assisting with general maintenance tasks like carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor repairs.
- Communicating effectively with Site Lead to determine and address service needs.
- Maintaining electronic maintenance records and updating CMMS for equipment and parts management.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and Trade School or Union Apprenticeship.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, with a focus on general services and landscaping.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, with experience in vehicle engines and small motor repair.
