Brightside is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to drive immediate impact through product and business analytics, reporting, and strategic insights. Reporting to the Senior Director of Analytics, you will work cross-functionally with all departments to support financial, operational, and strategic decision-making that enhances patient and provider experiences.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Data Analyst:

  • Drive data-driven decision-making by analyzing patient outcomes, provider performance, and business operations to support strategic initiatives.
  • Optimize clinical and business alignment by identifying trends and insights that enhance operational efficiencies, improve patient engagement, and drive provider satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data models using dbt to support analytics and reporting across teams.
  • Leverage Tableau and Amplitude to create compelling visualizations and dashboards that provide real-time insights into key metrics, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiencies.
  • Utilize cohort analysis to segment users and derive insights into patient engagement and provider performance.
  • Support growth initiatives by analyzing patient acquisition, retention, and engagement trends to optimize product and service offerings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and clinicians to implement data-driven improvements.
  • Design measurement frameworks for experimentation and A/B testing to evaluate changes in patient experience, provider workflows, and Telehealth platform optimizations.
  • Propose and review Segment event tracking plans to ensure robust data collection and reporting.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex analytical challenges and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrate user empathy by ensuring data-driven insights align with the needs and experiences of both patients and providers.
  • Emphasize a team-first approach by fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Show versatility by adapting to evolving business needs and working across different areas of the company.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, or Telehealth.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
  • Experience building dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or similar BI tools.
  • Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in experiment design (e.g., A/B testing) and impact analysis to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Proven track record of effectively collaborating across technical and business functions to support product growth and operational efficiency.

Preferred

  • Experience working with Telehealth platforms or within a clinical healthcare setting.
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and best practices for handling healthcare data.
  • Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning models, or AI-driven insights in healthcare settings.
  • Knowledge of ETL pipelines and data warehouse best practices.
