About The Company

Our client is a diversified fintech firm looking to hire a Vice President to join their team. This role will work with various departments including the front office investments team, in-house, and external valuation experts.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Director, Financial Controller, and interface directly with senior management team members
  • Lead financial accounting and controls, and financial operations
  • Manage the audit process surrounding the multiple on-balance sheet investments
  • Work with front office teams to determine accounting implications of new business/investments
  • Develop, implement, and upgrade controls and procedures to ensure the function will be Sarbanes Oxley ready compliant
  • Research and analyze accounting matters; drafting and implementing formal accounting policies; evaluate current accounting practices and procedures and drive continuous improvement
  • Enhance intra-group funding, transfer pricing & equity accounting and documentation
  • Enhance management reporting capabilities via expanded use of Netsuite available fields

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CPA required
  • Experience with accounting for and management of principal investments
  • Familiar with accounts payable operations
  • Experience with Sarbanes Oxley compliance

Salary Range

$150,000-$200,000
