Khari Edwards for Brooklyn Borough President is seeking a full-time Field Director for the June 2025 primary election cycle. Responsibilities
- Design and implement a boroughwide field plan
- Recruit, train, and manage campaign volunteers and interns
- Oversee the management and implementation of the paid field program
- Create staff and volunteer training materials
- Create aspirational goals and coach volunteers and interns to success
- Develop appropriate metrics and manage systems of accountability for the campaign
- Collaborate with and facilitate communication between the campaign’s field teams, the rest of the campaign, and local grassroots organizations, tenant leaders, etc.
- Analyze data and modeling to create and track progress in voter contact universes
- Leverage voter contact tools, like relational organizing apps, and integrate them into the field plan
- Additional duties as assigned
- Experience training, supporting, and managing staff and/or volunteer in an electoral or community engagement capacity
- 2-3 cycles of political campaign experience in field
- Proficiency using Votebuilder (VAN)
- Ability to work long or irregular hours, including weekends, as needed
- Additional language skills are a +
- New York campaign experience or ties to the state
- Experience organizing in city settings
