
Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant (Remote)
I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in ServiceNow platform with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). As a ServiceNow Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions on the ServiceNow platform to meet the business needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design, implementation, and support of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and CMDB.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design scalable solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, business rules, and notifications.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex ServiceNow platform issues.
- Assist with platform upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams.
- Ensure that ServiceNow solutions align with best practices and governance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to improve performance, usability, and automation within the platform.
Requirements:
- CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, specifically with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and CMDB modules.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration and customization.
- Proven experience in implementing ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and CMDB solutions in a large enterprise environment.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
- Experience with ServiceNow integration technologies like REST and SOAP web services, MID Servers, and ETL tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required.
Preferred Skills:
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of other ServiceNow products such as Virtual Agent, Performance Analytics, or Security Incident Response is a plus.
- Experience with ITIL processes and frameworks.
