Job Description for Data Migration and Integration Resource
Rate : $60/hour on W2
Location: Wyoming (Hybrid)
Client: PS2G
Senior Data Migration and Integration Developer would be responsible for:
Legacy System Data Migration Designing and executing a strategy to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from the existing systems into the new system while ensuring data integrity and completeness.
Data Mapping & Transformation Analyzing legacy data structures, defining mappings to the new system s schema, and applying transformation rules to align with updated business processes.
Integration with External Systems Developing secure and efficient interfaces (APIs, web services, or middleware) to enable seamless data exchange with multiple systems, including Medicaid, provider management systems, and other state or federal databases.
Data Quality & Reconciliation Conducting data validation, deduplication, and reconciliation efforts to ensure data accuracy before, during, and after migration.
ETL Development & Optimization Implementing scalable and high-performance ETL processes to handle large datasets while minimizing downtime during cutover.
Security & Compliance Ensuring data migration and integration processes comply with HIPAA, CMS data security regulations, and Wyoming s health data policies.
Testing & Validation Collaborating with business analysts and system testers to validate migrated data, troubleshoot discrepancies, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Cutover Planning & Execution Assisting in go-live planning, including mock migrations, rollback procedures, and final data synchronization to ensure a smooth transition.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Creating detailed documentation of migration processes, data mappings, and integration workflows for future maintenance and training
