Role: Unix Administrator
Location: Montgomery Ave in Philadelphia, PA-19122 Hybrid(2 days minimum onsite)

Responsibilities include:
Installing, configuring, and maintain Linux servers and system software.
Troubleshoots and resolves problems and outages.
Develop, configure, and maintain Hitachi/Pure storage system
Monitor and maintain SAN/NAS devices
Assists in resolution of hardware/software platform problems in complex, multi-layered environment.
Analyzes impact of software changes across other functional units.
Assigns system logon passwords, perform password resets add new users and revoke inactive accounts.
Maintains system logs and system software installation media.
Maintains library of documentation for system software.
Maintains space utilization statistics, forecast future space requirements.
Implements and manages system to proactively monitor infrastructure.
Responsible for preparation, documentation and participation in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity initiatives. This includes the routine maintenance of offsite documentation and media required for the recovery process as well as preparation for and participation in Disaster Recovery tests and post-test reporting.
Out of hours and on-call obligations are to be anticipated in normal operations.

Minimum skill and experience:
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Client UNIX and Linux Certification desired.
Expert knowledge in Oracle Linux
Strong knowledge of Nagios
Strong knowledge Puppet or automation tools
Expert knowledge with fundamental storage, object, block, file, and database activities
Excellent knowledge in Client-UX Operating Systems v11.11 and 11.31 as well as network protocols and topologies.
Knowledge of Client AIRES and Client Service Guard.
Strong familiarity with Client hardware including C7000 Chassis, Integrity Blades and Virtual Connect hardware.
Solid, broad knowledge of server and network technologies as well as related applications and desktop technologies.
Solid skills in Linux/UNIX file systems, command line and Shell scripts
Supports tunes and validates Linux/UNIX operating systems
