A Quantitative Finance Analyst analyzes financial data and models to help the organization make better decisions. They may work on projects for specific business units or risk types.
Responsibilities
- Perform stress testing, including scenario design, implementation, and reporting
- Analyze stress scenario results
- Develop risk assessments and analyze credit risk scenarios
- Build forecast models, pricing models, and stress test models
- Research and analyze risk management for the bank
- Assess market trends and provide quantitative data
- Apply quantitative knowledge to financial challenges
- Implement solutions using both qualitative and quantitative methods
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Critical thinking skills
- Good quant/statistics experience - good coding skills.
- Must have Python, Tableau and SQL experience/ exposure.
- Data science/statistics.
- Machine Learning/ AI preferred
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2-3 years' experience, open to PhD. Masters strongly preferred
