Description

SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician II to support the U.S. Navy in Crane, IN.

Duties include
  • Disassembly/assembly, inspection, overhaul/sustainment and system testing of missiles and landing force munitions utilizing Standard Operating Procedures and current instructions.
  • Painting and stenciling of missiles and/or c ontainers, banding of pallets and recording documentation of configuration changes.
  • Disassembling various types of all-up missiles and landing force munitions into subassemblies to allow for parts repair, parts replacement and/or configuration changes.
  • Inspecting, testing and measuring the operating characteristics of components.
  • Performing visual inspection and testing of components for evidence of mechanical, electrical or physical damages.
  • Utilizing special mechanical/electrical testing or measuring devices to perform inspection.
  • Documenting all actions in an electronic traveler system.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. Interim Secret needed to start.
  • Must be able to use assorted hand tools

DESIRED
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook and Word are a plus.
  • Data entry experience is a plus.
