  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

  2. Tip: If you're running Mac OS, click the Firefox drop-down list > Preferences.
  3. On the Content tab, click the Enable JavaScript check box.

  7. Refresh the page.

Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Project Manager

Location: Montpelier, VT

Mandatory Requirement

  • Must be currently working or have recently worked with the State of Vermont.
  • Must have experience in web accessibility compliance, digital government services, and project management.
  • Must have Experience in Drupal CMS (or equivalent), web development, and cloud-based content management solutions.
  • Expert in implementing payment processing solutions, eGovernment portals, and secure online transactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must have experience working with government agencies, preferably with the Vermont Agency of Digital Services or similar organizations.
  • Expertise in WCAG 2.1 AA, ADA compliance, Section 508, and digital accessibility auditing.
  • Knowledge of user authentication protocols (SAML 2.0, SSO, MFA), cybersecurity frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001), and data governance.
  • Proficiency in state procurement processes, contract management, and compliance reporting.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and support stakeholders in web accessibility and digital service best practices.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Web Design System (USWDS), Vermont state regulations, and content management best practices.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) IAAP
  • Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) IAAP
  • Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) IAAP
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) PMI
