Role: Snowflake Architect

  • Account Management – Manage user access, roles, privileges, and security settings.
  • Performance Optimization – Improve system performance through query optimization and resource management.
  • Resource Planning – Plan and manage capacity utilization for efficiency and scalability.
  • Automation – Automate tasks like schema creation and role provisioning.
  • Collaboration – Work with data engineers, architects, and analysts to integrate Snowflake.

  • Troubleshooting – Diagnose and fix Snowflake infrastructure and data pipeline issues.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years in platform administration for Snowflake.
  • 2+ years managing production workloads on cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and capabilities.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake-specific query optimization techniques.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving & analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake security, including:
    • Access control, authentication, authorization
    • Encryption, masking, secure views, etc.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience working within AWS cloud environments.
