Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in SD-WAN (Meraki, Viptela), Mist Wireless, and Cisco Routing & Switching. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure, troubleshooting complex network issues, and ensuring optimal performance and security of enterprise networks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Design & Deployment: Architect, deploy, and manage LAN/WAN and SD-WAN solutions using Cisco Viptela, Meraki, and Mist Wireless.
  • Routing & Switching: Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches, ensuring seamless connectivity.
  • Wireless Network Management: Deploy and optimize Mist Wireless solutions to enhance network performance.
  • System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor network health, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure system reliability.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement network security best practices, including firewall configurations, VPN setups, and access control policies.
  • Upgrades & Maintenance: Perform firmware upgrades, patches, and capacity planning to maintain network stability.
  • Change Management: Follow ITIL-based change management processes to ensure network integrity and minimal downtime.
  • Collaboration & Vendor Management: Work closely with vendors and cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and resolve technical challenges.
  • Technical Documentation & Training: Maintain detailed network documentation and provide training to IT staff on new technologies and best practices.
  • On-Call Support: Provide 24x7 support as required for critical network incidents.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: CCNP or equivalent certification in networking required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN, Cisco Routing & Switching, and Wireless Technologies.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • SD-WAN: Cisco Viptela, Meraki
    • Routing & Switching: Cisco ISR/ASR, Catalyst, Nexus switches
    • Wireless Networking: Mist Wireless, Meraki Wireless
    • Security & VPN: Firewall configurations, VPN tunnels, and network access control
    • Troubleshooting Tools: Experience with Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetFlow, and SNMP monitoring tools
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
