About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent writing and communication skills, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and SQL.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, and other technical materials.
• Content Creation: Create high-quality content that is easy to understand and visually appealing, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Agile Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand product features, requirements, and workflows within an Agile development environment.
• SQL Proficiency: Utilize SQL to extract and analyze data to inform documentation and improve content accuracy.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, and developers to gather information and ensure the accuracy of documentation.
• Review and Editing: Review and edit technical content to ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy.
• User Experience: Consider the user experience when creating documentation and strive to make it as user-friendly as possible.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technical writing, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a technical writer with a strong focus on creating clear and concise documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
• Proficiency in SQL and the ability to query databases to extract relevant information.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, DITA, or similar.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for technical writing.

Nice to have:

• Experience with API documentation and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
