Description
We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, and associated Fintech sectors. He/She will work with the Customer point of contacts, Senior Client Engagement Managers and also the FinTEch partners at various stages in the engagement.
The He/She will provide deep insights, strategic guidance, and expert knowledge to drive our software product development and market positioning with respect to US Banking landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage with clients at various stages of engagement including pre-sales stage to provide subject matter expertise w.r.t. banking technology transformation, functional requirements and functional component selection and implementation.
- Drive Implementation engagements as SME by providing key inputs to the Project team and Client w.r.t to functionality, technology and implementation strategy.
- Engage and evaluate potential industry partners to complement and complete UST FinX offerings in US Market. Work with the selected partners to offer integrated joint solutions to the market.
Product Development:
- Collaborate with product teams to design and enhance fintech products and services.
- Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the BFSI and fintech sectors.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in product offerings.
Other:
- Provide training and mentorship to internal teams on industry-specific knowledge.
- Problem Solving: Recognize problems related to project objectives. Analyze complex/new situations, anticipate potential problems and future trends, assess opportunities, impacts, and risks. Independently generates solutions, based on analytical skills & business knowledge. Challenge the validity of given procedures and processes to enhance and improve or develop complementary adjustments /solutions.
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in developing and implementing software products for Retail banking, Corporate Banking and fintech sectors.
- Strong exposure to core banking platforms, digital banking platforms, payment systems and regulatory reporting
- Proven track record of working in a similar SME role.
- Extensive knowledge of banking regulations, fintech innovations, and industry best practices.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional remote teams.
- Proficiency in any one of the leading core banking platforms commonly implemented in USA
