Key Responsibilities:

Citrix ADC (NetScaler) Administration

  • Design, deploy, and configure Citrix ADC (NetScaler) for load balancing, application delivery, and security.
  • Develop and implement load balancing strategies to optimize application performance.
  • Manage and maintain Citrix ADC environments for high availability and reliability.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot Citrix ADC-related issues.
  • Apply patches, updates, and firmware upgrades.
  • Collaborate with network and application teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Implement and maintain security configurations in compliance with organizational policies.

Network Engineering & Infrastructure

  • Design and implement network architecture, including routers, switches, and load balancers.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco networking devices (Catalyst 9200, 9300, 9400).
  • Perform network maintenance, updates, and performance monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, security, and performance issues.
  • Implement network security measures such as NAC, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools.
  • Support data center migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement SSL, authentication solutions, and encryption protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with industry security standards and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct security audits and support Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) resolutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 6-8 years of experience in Citrix ADC (NetScaler) and Cisco networking.
  • Strong knowledge of HTTP, SSL, authentication protocols, OSI model, and Layer 7 networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Citrix ADC models (SDX, MPX, VPX), Citrix Gateway, and ADM.
  • Experience integrating Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenDesktop) with Citrix Gateway.
  • Expertise in Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewall administration.
  • Proficiency in load balancing, SSL VPN, ICA reverse proxy, HA, LLB, GSLB, and firmware upgrades.
  • Familiarity with packet sniffing tools, network monitoring tools (SolarWinds), and Citrix troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts in a banking/insurance environment.
  • Strong coordination skills to interact with system admins, security teams, and application owners.
  • Experience working with Citrix TAC, Cisco support, and other vendor escalation teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).
  • Familiarity with network automation and scripting for operational efficiency.
  • Experience in data center disaster recovery (DC/DR) switchovers and failover testing.
