Oracle Database Performance Engineer - Onsite Interview
Requirements:
- 8 or more years of experience as Database Performance Engineer.
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in large Oracle databases on AWS.
- Experience with Oracle Exadata databases and clusters.
- Experience in Linux shell scripting and SQL tuning.
- Experience generating and analyzing AWR, ASH, and ADDM reports.
- Experience presenting complex technical findings to diverse audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize application and system performance across multiple tiers, focusing on database scalability.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Simulate user/system load to evaluate component behavior.
- Optimize code, queries, and system configurations for improved efficiency.
- Interpret Oracle performance data to correlate with system behavior.
- Predict system performance under various load conditions.
