Job Description:
Prolim Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst - Network Security 2 to support the Texas Workforce Commission. The selected candidate will play a critical role in cybersecurity analysis, risk assessments, security architecture, and compliance with state and federal security regulations.
Responsibilities:
Conduct cybersecurity analysis and risk assessments to ensure compliance with relevant security policies, standards, and regulations.
Develop, implement, and manage enterprise security architecture.
Perform security audits, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements.
Provide technical consultation and guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
Communicate security risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
Ensure the integration of security technologies into existing and new systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered:
Education: Bachelor s degree in cybersecurity, information technology security, computer engineering, computer science, management information systems, or a related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for education (one year of experience = 30 semester hours of education).
Experience:
6+ years in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
5+ years in security and/or enterprise architecture development, implementation, and management.
6+ years conducting security risk assessments and/or audits within state and federal regulations.
5+ years of experience with technical communication and presentation skills.
5+ years of strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following additional skills and experience will be preferred:
4+ years of experience applying and integrating information technologies into security solutions.
4+ years of experience translating operational requirements into security controls.
4+ years of experience in security system design, resilience, and adaptability to operational changes.
4+ years of expertise in network security architecture, including defense-in-depth strategies.
2+ years of experience working with the Texas Workforce Commission.
