The Operations Team is seeking a dedicated Computer Operator on a pure contract basis. This is a one-year contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor a diverse enterprise consisting of MVS, UNIX, LINUX, and Windows systems.
- Utilize CA Workload Automation (formerly D-Series Automation) for scheduling tasks.
- Use Cherwell Ticketing System to manage and resolve issues.
- Employ monitoring tools such as HP BSM, OEM, Dynatrace, and SolarWinds.
- Perform various tasks like tape library tape pull and facility walkthroughs.
- Act as the first line of defense for any system issues, outages, or network errors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or holding an Associate's degree in IT.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Experience with monitoring, computer operations, and troubleshooting.
- Technical support experience.
- Knowledge of Linux and SQL.

- Contract Duration: Until December 2025, with a high probability of extension or conversion
