
Aerospace Technician - Integration Engineering
B shift: Monday thru Thursday 5 pm to 5 am Pay: $46.20
C shift: Friday thru Sunday 5 am to 5 pm Pay: $46.62
D shift: Friday thru Sunday 5 pm to 5 am Pay: $48.30
Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field
- Experience in at least one of the following is required: fluids and tubing install, instrumentation and electrical harness routing, general Aerospace/Launch vehicle assembly.
- Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions and test procedures.
- Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds
- Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person.
- Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas.
- Work at Heights on work stands and in lifts.
- Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture, assemble, and test according to written procedures.
- Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
- Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles.
- Perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
- Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations and other ground support equipment as required.
- Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges and optical measuring instruments.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD
- Ability to work off-shift, extended overtime, and weekends if/when vital.
- Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision.
