We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in New York. The role is for a Data/Information Architect with a focus on Cloud Technologies, Data Warehouses, and ETL in an Agile Scrum environment.
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing data architectures, databases, and data applications.
Utilizing business intelligence and data warehousing to analyze and interpret complex data.
Developing and maintaining cloud-based data strategies using Azure Data Lake.
Using Erwin Data and DB2 Database tools for data modeling and database design.
Collaborating in an Agile Scrum environment to ensure the efficient delivery of projects.
Implementing data lakes for the storage, integration, and analysis of large datasets.
Ensuring data solutions are compliant with the organization's policies and standards.
Continuously evaluating emerging data technologies and trends.
Providing technical guidance and support to the data management team.
Requirements
Proven experience in the Housing Association industry.
Demonstrable skills in Business Intelligence (BI).
Proficient in Data Warehousing operations.
Strong knowledge of Azure Data Lake.
Experience in working with Data Lakes.
Ability to translate complex data into understandable business information.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to design and implement effective data architectures.
Knowledge of data management and governance practices.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.
