Sr. Software Developer (ASP.NET, C#, MVC) - HYBRID

SYSCOM s client is seeking a Senior Software Developer (ASP.NET, C#, MVC) to work in the Information Services division of their company. The Software Developer will assist the staff with rewriting and support for an application including modernization and critical security updates. The Software Developer will work with planning managers, architects, business analysts, quality assurance analysts and agencies to define and transform business requirements into technical design and programming specifications conforming to the system architecture.
The Software Developer will be responsible for the following duties, and additional duties may be assigned. They will implement enterprise solutions following established client patterns in application development and data security; build, deploy and test software applications and modules using automated test and deployment technologies and tools. They will provide direction in identifying appropriate technical solutions (application and system level) that meets business objectives, which include defining technical alternatives to derive the most cost-effective solutions to meet client requirements. Review test cases and test plans in conjunction with quality assurance staff. Execute unit and integration testing procedures. The consultant will provide ongoing support, including functionality and critical security updates to the client s application. This resource will also be required to assist in training on integration of the application.
Work location: Hybrid position, requiring Mondays and Tuesdays in the office, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays work from home. The on-site work location is in St. Paul, MN 55106.
Duration: Two (2) year project with possible extensions.
Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Work with planning managers, architects, business analysts, quality assurance analysts and agencies to define and transform business requirements into technical design and programming specifications conforming to the system architecture.

Minimum Qualifications Must Meet All
- Seven (7) years of experience developing ASP .NET MVC applications with C#
- Five (5) years of Unit test experience (NUnit)
- Experience using HTML/CSS
- Experience using JavaScript
- CSS experience
- Experience using Entity Framework
- Experience writing T-SQL for MS SQL Server
- Experience within an Agile Scrum development team
- Experience in development of Windows Services using .NET 4.0 or above
- Experience using XML schemas
- Experience using XSLT
- Experience using REST/SOAP web services
- Experience using Web API
- Experience with DevOps incorporating automation for CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with front-end JavaScript libraries, especially Bootstrap 4/5 and jQuery
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work onsite in St. Paul / Minneapolis, MN 55106 (Twin Cities area)
- Experience working with law enforcement or criminal justice systems is strongly desired but not required
