Job Description:

  • Shape the future of Service Reservations platform as a full stack engineer (80% front-end, 20% back-end) through solutions developed using ReactJS, Google Cloud Platform, Java, Spring Boot, Postgres, and other technologies required to deliver business value.
  • Work in a pair-programming environment
  • Innovate directly and continuously with Product Managers, Product Owners, Product Designers and Software Engineers to develop and release working, tested, supportable, world-class software on the Service Reservations platform.
  • Work with an end to end, full-stack mindset to solve business problems with IT solutions
  • Utilize Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
  • Share support responsibilities for launched components.
  • Offer innovative ideas to improve software delivery processes

Skills Required:

  • Problem solving, engineering mindset
  • Willingness to learn and apply clean coding practices and other principles of software craft
  • Understanding of serverless architecture
  • Love for technology and building great software
  • Knowledge of both object oriented and functional programming design principles.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Willingness to pair program on continuous basis
  • Willingness to work across full product lifecycle, including support, as needed
  • Self-motivated

Experience Required:

  • 6+ years ReactJS (or similar) experience in a professional seeting;
  • 1+ year Java/Springboot experience;
  • 2+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
