Job Description:
Monthly Exchange Reporting
- Understand the bank's exchange data usage globally and across all vendors (or direct connection). This includes all non-display applications (algo boxes), usage type, vendor Datafeeds and entitlement files.
- Understand Exchange reporting policies, format and portals.
- Reports via vendors or directly to exchange - monthly, quarterly or annual reports
- Update MDM with user IDs, services, costs and exchange entitlements using MDM upload handlers. Receive vendor entitlement files and use MDM's dedicated handlers:
- Bloomberg Terminal, Bloomberg B-PIPE, Factset
- Fidessa TBC with MDSL
Monthly vendor entitlement file uploads (generic handlers)
- Before uploading into MDM, use macros to configure vendor entitlement files to MDSL's generic upload templates.
- Using the populated templates, upload into MDM using the 'Generic handler' and update inventory with user IDs, services, costs and exchange entitlements
- Update MDM with user IDs, services and exchange entitlements using macros to configure vendor files into the MDSL generic template files.
Monthly CME, NYSE CTA and UTP MISU Inventory Reports
- Once uploads are completed and updated for the month, generate MDM inventory reports for J&J to create MISU reports.
- Two inventory files: NYSE CTA and UTP from MDM. Also send with HRID file, BLI file and Leaver Compliance report.
- Understand all MDM fields, VANs/BLIs, service names, models, reportable and non-reportable services and the applicable vendors.
Exchange Non-Display Agreements
- Understand current Jefferies exchange non-display agreements: who uses what (application owners), via which vendor, which region.
- Understand exchange commercial policy and licensing structure.
Exchange Non-Display/Customer Usage Declarations
- Complete quarterly or annual Exchange declarations that are mandatory.
- Understand exchange usage globally (e.g. application usage via various vendor Datafeeds and usage type).
Monitor Exchange policy updates
- Action on any new exchange policy updates for reporting and/or licensing requirements. Contact exchange contact to obtain correct license agreements to remain compliant and avoid data loss.
- DNM monitoring for Bloomberg
Bloomberg BPIPE compliance
- Advise business on BPIPE usage rules for Display or Non-Display applications vs. Data License.
- Advise on different BPS or Market Data fields that can be accessed depending on usage type.
