Our client, a leader in financial tax software, is looking to hire a Project Manager. This role will be onsite 3x per week in Mountain View, CA.

*This job is a 4-month W2 contract role with benefits & paid holidays!*

As a Project Manager, you will communicate with project stakeholders, monitor the project's progress, and use critical data to make necessary recommendations to ensure project success. You will have the opportunity to support finance systems transformation initiatives, working directly with stakeholders from across Finance, Product, Engineering IT, and Compliance teams to ensure deliverables are met, metrics are tracked and published, change management is supported, and create process flows and narratives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long and short-term plans: setting targets for milestones, deliverables, and adhering to deadlines, while executing assigned project tasks
  • Act as a point of contact within the Finance team to ensure effective implementation of solutions according to project timelines
  • Communicate with team members, stakeholders, and leadership via status reporting, weekly meetings,
  • Administer change management plans to support uptake of solutions, adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed for any changes
  • Ensure deliverables and timelines are met, removing barriers and driving escalations

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Working knowledge of large-scale data engineering, data management capability transformation, change management, and data product development projects
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Google Sheets, Jira & dashboard creation
  • Prior experience in FinTech or Financial Services industry & PMP Certification a huge plus!
