Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct field activities for soil and groundwater investigation and remediation projects.
- Perform environmental investigations, collect environmental data, and support environmental site assessments.
- Assist Senior Geologists with project execution and planning.
- Plan and manage soil and groundwater investigation activities.
- Analyze and interpret field data, creating detailed summaries.
- Write comprehensive technical reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Geology or a related science field.
- 1-3 years of experience in environmental consulting, including technical report writing.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Willingness to travel up to 50-75%, which may include occasional overnight travel.
- Comfortable working in various outdoor site conditions and project locations.
- Ability to pass a workplace physical, drug screening, and background check.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with contractors, clients, regulatory personnel, and team members.
- Proficiency in technical writing and data interpretation
- Geoscientist-In-Training (GIT) or Professional Geoscientist (PG) license.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training or equivalent.
