Phillip Jeffries is growing and expanding our team! We are actively searching for a Procurement Coordinator!

We are currently accepting resumes for a Procurement Coordinator in our Fairfield, NJ office. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, an excellent communicator and enjoys being a part of a winning team. This role will report to our Assistant Direct Procurement Manager and will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office with the reminder of days from home.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Place all nonstock orders with mills and monitor status
  • Update the system with production and shipping dates.
  • Report stock items schedule for shipping on weekly basis
  • Management of the PO process, including issuing POs, monitoring their progress, and ensuring delivery of shipments
  • Match all receipts to designated company invoices
  • Verify Invoices, shipping documents, and provide accounting with documents and timing
  • Plan and forecast inventory for every mill biweekly or as needed
  • Track all allocations of stock items
  • Follow up on customer inquiries with the mills and communicate it within the agreed timeline

Must Have

  • 1-2 years of experience, preferably within Supply Chain, Procurement or Purchasing roles
  • BA or BS in purchasing, supply chain management, or similar field
  • Eager to learn
  • Upbeat, positive energy
  • Able to multitask and prioritize
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Great attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
