Are you tough enough to be a professional beekeeper?

I have been working 6 days a week at 60-80 hours for years and looking for ways to lighten my load. I have 2 full time and 3 part time employees and still have much more work than I can handle. I try and surround myself with good people that support me in creating win win win situations in which we save the bees while making a living.

We can only consider applicants that can legally work in the USA no H2A visas.

Areas we need help are:

*Answering phones, invoicing and communicating with clients

*Caring for hives in clients backyards

*Working in commercial apiary caring for the bees, pollinating crops and making honey

*Removing bees alive from unwanted locations and moving them to where they are wanted

*General support of operations, building equipment, painting, weeding, cleaning vehicles, assisting anywhere needed.

We work long hours during long weeks out in the weather doing difficult work. Most people can not handle this type of work but those who can would not imagine doing anything else.

We are constantly surrounded by stinging insects so if you are afraid of being stung in the face please do not apply.

I could hire 10 people and still not get everything done so we are willing to be flexible with hours, as long as consistent. We are willing to hire various skill levels for different job duties. Three years of beekeeping experience preferred. Handyman, mechanic, farm or other related experinace a bonus

Willing to train but you will start at the bottom and earn your way up.

Pay is based on income generated / performance.

College degree not required in fact sometimes gets in the way of beekeeping as the education system does not prepare you for success in blue collar work. This work is life fulfilling, mentally challenging, all encompassing and soul feeding but takes everything and you have to bring all that you have every day to succeed. We make space for those who are not neurotypical in fact those who are not may thrive with us and this type of work. Suggest looking up “So God made a farmer”. In this line of work you can not be outsourced overseas, replace by AI or a robot.

We require a non disclosure agreement and non compete which we will enforce.
