The ideal candidate will drive business growth by expanding the company’s market presence and customer base through identifying and closing new sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage prospective strategic customers, presenting tailored value-driven solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through consistent, proactive communication to support ongoing growth by:
  • Offering innovative solutions that align with client requirements.
  • Acting as a liaison between key customers and internal teams.
  • Reviewing and discussing pricing and adjustments as needed.
  • Initiating contact with key decision-makers in target organizations to understand their needs, provide technical solutions, and define project scope and timelines.
  • Manage and develop key accounts to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Establish and execute a strategic prospecting plan to develop a pipeline of potential new clients.
  • Develop a structured territory action plan outlining strategic and tactical steps to exceed revenue goals.
  • Research and generate leads through various channels, including industry publications, trade shows, and digital sources, ensuring thorough follow-up.
  • Leverage a consultative sales approach, focusing on value-based selling, a structured sales process, and closing profitable deals.
  • Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for account management, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
  • Provide support for customers’ test engineering needs, including product demonstrations and sales of test fixtures and automated test systems (custom hardware/software solutions).
  • Prepare sales reports and revenue forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as required by leadership.
  • Stay informed on competitive products, emerging market trends, and industry developments, providing insights to leadership and marketing teams.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of company products, applications, pricing, and key selling points.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical sales or business development role.
  • Prior experience selling mid-range electronic hardware or capital equipment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively develop new business opportunities with a "hunter" sales mindset.
  • Proven success in managing key or strategic accounts.
  • Familiarity with electrical test equipment and related technologies.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and account management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for developing long-term client partnerships.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully closing deals.
