The Software Test Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of automated test developers and test case designers . This teams plays a key role in validating the quality and robustness of our telematics software.
What You'll Be Doing :
In this role you will perform functions including:
- Provide strategic technical direction and vision for the Automated Software Testing team while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture
- Lead ing a team of Automated Test Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Building relationships with development teams and product leaders to advance automation testing solutions enabling high quality software deliveries.
- Lead the development and implementation of the automation testing roadmap in collaboration with development teams. Lead scrum sessions to track and celebrate automation sprint achievements.
- Contribute directly to the planning and execution of test automation projects. Maintain a hands-on role in the coding and troubleshooting of automation scripts and frameworks.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience is software development life cycle management with a focus on test automation in embedded applications .
- 10+ years' experience of software development and/or software testing
- Pr o ficiency in a programming language such as C, C++ or Python.
- Strong knowledge of state of the art automated test strategies
- Ability to use analytical techniques including risk-based testing and test analysis and design techniques in creating effective test plans .
- Ability to work with a hybrid remote and local team to deliver consistent results.
- Experience implementing state of the art DevOps practices for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
What You'll Need for Success:
- Skill using modern Agile and CI/CD development environment and tools, such as Azure Dev Ops, Git , Jira, Jenkins, etc.
- Understanding of Python Programming language .
- Experience using PyTest Framework is a plus
- Problem solving mindset. Willingness to get your hands dirty in helping the team meet challenging goals.
