About the Role

This is a paid, part-time hybrid User Experience Intern role at Ner!ah, LLC, requiring approximately 10 hours per week. The User Experience Intern will assist in executing wireframes and prototypes, designing original web pages, and improving the overall user experience for client projects. This role provides hands-on experience in user research, UI/UX design, usability testing, and front-end implementation, supporting both Ner!ah, LLC and our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a solid understanding of UX principles, and an eagerness to contribute to real-world projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather insights to improve user experience.
  • Design and refine wireframes and prototypes for websites and applications.
  • Create and optimize web pages using WordPress
  • Apply UX design principles to enhance usability and engagement.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and performance.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to align business goals with user needs.
  • Work on branding and visual assets using Canva or Adobe Express.
  • Participate in team meetings, design critiques, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Work independently and within a team to complete assigned tasks on time.

Requirements

User Research, Wireframing, and Prototyping skills

Usability Testing skills

Knowledge of UX design principles

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Express

Pursuing or completed a degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Media and Journalism, or some other related field
