We are seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to join our team as the Vice President of Business Operations. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this pivotal role will lay the foundation for our company’s operational excellence, defining how we work, communicate, and execute as we scale. As a critical member of the leadership team, the VP of Business Operations will drive alignment across the organization, enable business velocity, and execute on key company initiatives to support growth and future readiness. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, operational expertise, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, dynamically growing environments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate. Our base salary is just one component of Ironclad’s competitive total rewards package, which also includes equity awards (a new hire grant, along with opportunities for additional awards throughout your tenure), competitive health and wellness benefits, and a commitment to career growth and development.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the development and optimization of the company's core operations processes, enhancing overall business performance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement on the company's strategic priorities.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative culture.
- Oversee company-wide operating rhythm orchestration, including Monthly Operating Reviews, Corporate Cadence, and Annual Company Planning to ensure alignment on strategic goals and execution.
- Manage performance execution and drive operational excellence across the business, including implementing planning and reporting systems, goal management frameworks, and decision-making processes.
- Define and implement effective ways of working strategies and work models that maximize employee communication, collaboration, and productivity.
- Spearhead large-scale company strategic initiatives, such as international expansion, project/program management, and IPO readiness, ensuring cross-functional impact.
- Establish and track KPIs and key business metrics to measure success and drive improvements across departments.
- Leverage future of work practices and systems to enable operating efficiencies and data driven decision making.
- 15+ years in business operations and strategy, consulting, or financial planning roles with a related field educational degree background preferred
- Proven track record of driving business growth in a scaling technology company; balancing both growth drivers with fiscal responsibilities.
- History of effective team building and talent development at global scale
- Experience in leading large-scale change management, company-wide programs, and process optimization
- Direct experience leading a team driving company wide results; strong evidence and experience influencing directly and cross functionally
