We are seeking a Senior Decision Analyst to join our collaborative team in the retail space. You will work cross-functionally with business partners from Merchandising, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Online, and IT to design and implement decision analytics, tools, and new visibility/reporting capabilities.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $55 - $60 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analytics (65%): Analyze large volumes of data and leverage data analytics tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests using Google Cloud Platform BigQuery, SQL, Python, and Tableau.
  • Management of Data (10%): Collaborate with other decision analysts to explore new data sources; cleanse, validate, and test data.
  • Project Management & Support (5%): Support end users, solve problems, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Solution Development (15%): Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, colleagues, developers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
  • Technical Exploration & Development (5%): Develop additional technical competencies and subject matter expertise within the core functional group.


Experience Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in data mining, analysis, and visualization, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
  • Deep expertise in SQL and Cloud Data Environments, preferably Google Cloud.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and data visualization.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Python
  • Proficiency in a wide variety of database applications, analytical tools, and languages including SQL, Tableau, Python
  • Demonstrated ability to translate analysis into effective presentations and identify key insights to solve business problems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate actively in a team environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and techniques.


Education Requirements:
Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, etc.) or relevant work experience.
