We are looking for a talented .NET Developer with expertise in Power BI to join our team and contribute to exciting projects for Special Education funded applications which also integrate into other applications int the agency to drive business intelligence and web development forward.
Job Description:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Core.
- Design and implement data models and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions in the Microsoft technology including C# Visual Studio, Sql Server (SSMS).
- Develop and maintain Web APIs using .net Core and should have understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Design and maintain DB Schemas and proficient in SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with Entity Framework Core for ORM-based database operations.
- Experience with TypeScript, CSS, Javascript and jQuery
- Experience in writing integration tests for APIs and front-end applications as well as unit tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs.
OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- - Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- - Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start 03/17/2025 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 872 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
- WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Education Agency. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
The primary work location(s) will be at 100% Remote, Work Location With-in Texas. The working position is Telework.
