Job Title: SAP EWM Functional Lead

Location: Mundelein, IL: Hybrid Role

Job Description:
This role requires deep expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) with a focus on production integration and fixed bin configuration.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of configuring and optimizing warehouse processes, integrating EWM with production systems, and delivering robust solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions, with a particular emphasis on:
Production integration to ensure seamless coordination between warehouse and manufacturing processes.
Fixed bin configuration for optimized storage and retrieval processes.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system designs.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP EWM with other SAP modules such as PP, MM, and SD.
Perform system testing, issue resolution, and user training to support a smooth go-live process.
Conduct regular system performance analysis and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Develop and maintain documentation for configuration, processes, and user training materials.
Provide post-implementation support and ongoing optimization of SAP EWM solutions.
? Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration with a focus on production integration and fixed bin functionality.
Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, and inventory management.
Experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP ERP modules (e.g., PP, MM, SD).
Knowledge of fixed bin determination, replenishment strategies, and production staging.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with business and technical teams.
SAP EWM certification (preferred).
Education:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
