Role Overview:
As a DevOps Intern, you will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and ensure high availability of our services. You will play an integral role in configuring and maintaining our cloud-based and on-premise environments, contributing to the automation of workflows and improving overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Support: Assist in configuring and maintaining Linux-based servers (Ubuntu, CentOS) and web servers (NGINX, Apache) to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Cloud & CI/CD: Help manage cloud services (AWS, Heroku, Hostinger) and support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, GitHub/GitLab, and Docker.
  • Automation & Monitoring: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline system updates, backups, and monitoring; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Security & Access Control: Collaborate with teams to implement best practices for system security, including role-based access control and periodic audits.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions into application deployments and support on-demand scaling.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Linux server management and basic system administration.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku) is a plus.
  • Proficient in scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
