Position Overview:

Client is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join their Software IT department, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) Application Integration.

This role is pivotal in designing and implementing IT strategies that ensure seamless integration of systems, processes, and technology during M&A activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to navigate the complexities of integrating IT landscapes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, ensuring alignment with business goals, particularly in the context of M&A activities.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of IT landscapes for acquired or merged entities, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for integration.
  • Design integration strategies and roadmaps for IT systems, applications (must have), data, and infrastructure to support seamless transitions and business continuity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, operations, and business units to ensure architectural decisions align with organizational objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on IT due diligence, integration planning, and execution during M&A processes.
  • Define and enforce enterprise architecture principles, standards, and governance practices to ensure scalability and efficiency across the organization.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to optimize post-merger IT operations and support future growth.
  • Monitor integration progress and resolve challenges related to system compatibility, data migration, and application performance.
  • Prepare and present architectural models, proposals, and documentation to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, cloud technologies, data architecture, and integration methodologies.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Proven ability to analyze and assess complex IT landscapes and develop actionable integration plans.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with IT due diligence, regulatory compliance, and risk management in the context of M&A.
  • Familiarity with architecture modeling tools.
  • Experience in Agile project management and DevOps practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
