  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking FEMA Project COPE Crisis Counselors to join our outstanding and compassionate Behavioral Health team !

Virtual Interviews with a manager!

Date & Location

  • Friday, March 14th, 2025, From 10:00 am- 2:00 pm
  • Virtual Interviews conducted via teams. **Registration required **

BayCare is looking for Crisis Counselors for the following locations:

  • Pasco County
  • Hernando County
  • Hillsborough County

The FEMA Project COPE - Crisis Counselor is responsible for:

  • Working with individuals, families and groups to provide outreach, emotional support, individual and group crisis interventions, public education, and linkage to needed referrals.
  • Representing the program in the community and networks with other agencies and partners to ensure the needs of the survivors are met.
  • Providing presentation to community groups on disaster reactions, coping skills and stress management.
  • Travel is required throughout the assigned county. Mileage reimbursement is provided at the federal rate.

Experience
  • Previous experience working with mental health and/or substance use related issues preferred.

Required

Certification/License:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) within 60 days
  • Driver's License

Education
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelors required for Crisis Counselor II and Lead roles
