Job Title: Mobile Analyst

Duration: 6 months contract-to-hire

Location: Hybrid (Chanhassen, MN)

Job Description:

  • The Mobile Analyst plays a key role in the development and optimization of the mobile product that enhances the customer experience. This role is responsible for analyzing the mobile product performance, identifying areas for improvement, and working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze engagement and satisfaction.
  • The Mobile Analyst involves gathering and analyzing data from various sources, and synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations to leaders and supporting the digital teams. The role plays a key part in defining and tracking KPIs, ensuring that the mobile product is delivering against business goals. The role requires excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work in an agile environment, providing timely feedback and suggestions to Mobile product and digital marketing teams.
  • This position also requires close collaboration with data engineers and analytic teams to leverage data effectively and to ensure the development of scalable and data-driven digital insights.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Participate and drive the definition and adoption of enterprise data & analytics for the mobile product.
  • Assist the digital team in the support, maintenance, and enhancement of the mobile product platform using data and analytics.
  • Work with the mobile and digital marketing teams and other stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements; effectively represent as acceptance criteria in User Stories.
  • Interpret and/or create data, data models, dashboards, process flows, data flow diagrams, and other artifacts to gain and/or communicate understanding.
  • Coordinate and conduct effective collaboration sessions with mobile & technology teams and stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in all analytic team/Scrum events with the goal of delivering high quality, value-driven analytic insights.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with mobile business partners and technology team members.
  • Stay up with mobile industry and technological advancements, recommend enhancements, and contribute towards continuous improvement of processes and systems.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in current mobile industry trends and best practices within discipline
  • Strong team player - puts team before self
  • Ability to effectively multi-task with tight deadlines
  • High degree of self-discipline to work independently

Years of Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Mobile analyst, analytics analyst or business analyst
  • 6+ years of experience using DOMO, Snowflake and Adobe Analytics or 6+ years using modern BI and data warehouse platforms
  • 4+ years of experience in creating stories, analytic modeling and delivering data insights to leaders in mobile applications
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience in driving projects independently and strong cross-functional leadership
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in writing medium-high complexity SQL in databases such as Snowflake or similar technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Platform training or certifications
  • Practical experience using Agile/Scrum framework and/or related training/certifications
  • Practical experience using Atlassian toolset: Jira and Confluence
  • Proficient storytelling using data visualizations to communicate mobile insights
  • Enthused to learn new business functions and technologies, and ability to do so quickly, on the job

The projected hourly range for this position is $60-65/hr.
