Duration: 6+ months Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Networking Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Azure Networking Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the network infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design and Architecture:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure network architectures on Azure.
  • Configure virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups (NSGs).
  • Design and implement load balancers and application gateway configurations.
  • Implement VPN and ExpressRoute connections for hybrid connectivity.

Network Security:

  • Implement network security best practices, including firewall rules, IPsec VPNs, and network security groups.
  • Configure Azure Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

  • Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance problems.
  • Analyze network logs and metrics to identify trends and anomalies.

Automation and Scripting:

  • Automate network provisioning and configuration using Azure CLI, PowerShell, or Terraform.
  • Create scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other teams (e.g., security, infrastructure, development) to ensure network requirements are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Expertise in implementing security frameworks (e.g., encryption, key management) for cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA) for data in cloud environments - SOC1/SOC2 Audit.
  • Proficiency in configuring security tools (e.g., Azure Security Center, Snowflake s RBAC).
  • Experience with identity and access management (Azure AD, Unity Catalog).
  • Skills in auditing and securing sensitive data across cloud platforms.
