Job Title: Anaplan Technical Product Lead
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) / Technical Product Lead with strong expertise in Anaplan Financial Planning and financial planning processes. This role focuses on stabilizing and supporting the steady state of a newly implemented Financial Planning product. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery and optimization of financial planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect, develop, and maintain Anaplan connected planning models to support financial planning and analysis processes.
Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Anaplan solutions.
Design and build complex calculations, workflows, and data integrations within Anaplan and other enterprise systems.
Perform rigorous testing and validation of Anaplan models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Provide technical guidance and support to Anaplan developers (both onshore & offshore).
Monitor and troubleshoot issues with Anaplan models, providing timely resolutions.
Stay current with Anaplan platform updates and incorporate new features into existing models.
Conduct user training sessions and create documentation to enhance user adoption and promote self-service.
Continuously improve Anaplan models and processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Anaplan with other finance systems and tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of Anaplan implementation and support experience.
Level 3 Anaplan Model Builder Certification.
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, especially within SAP environments.
Experience with SAP Finance and Reporting modules (SAP ECC, SAP SAC, SAP BW, SAP BPC, and/or SAP S/4HANA).
Background in reporting and data management, with hands-on experience in SAP reporting tools.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in project management, including prioritization, capacity, and sprint planning.
Experience with data migration and ensuring data integrity during system transitions.
Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Finance transformation projects.
Strong background in Anaplan model building and ongoing support.
Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and other SAP reporting tools is a strong plus.
SAP Certification in a related area.
