Senior IT Project Manager - Infrastructure (M&A Experience)
Location: Remote (EST Hours)
Duration: 12+ Month Initial Contract
Compensation: $75 - 90/hr

Sr IT Project Manager- Infrastructure
Summary:
- Manage a large-scale project from planning to completion by facilitating meetings with project stakeholders.
- Develops, analyzes, and manages project estimation and execution plans, schedules, and resource forecasts.
- Monitors overall project performance against plan and makes adjustments as needed. Identifies and resolves issues.
- Provides insight and direction for the request for information and vendor request for proposal processes.
- Manages the work of IT resources by recommending or requesting resources based on the alignment of team member skills and project demands.
- Communicates a clear vision of project goals and objectives to the team.
- Coordinates IT team activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Lead and provide work direction to a project team to determine project scope, devise and maintain a workable plan, and to develop and deploy the solution in accordance with the needs of the project.
- Provides performance feedback to team members as needed.
- Manages, controls, and mitigates risks across multiple projects by analyzing and identifying trigger events.
- Manage the project change control process, status reporting, and project estimating.
- Establishes contingency plans, anticipates and manages dependencies affected by ongoing changes across projects, and recommends ways to mitigate future risks.
- Manages the alignment, buy-in, and support of diverse project stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with internal customers, third party vendors, and senior management.
- Manage interaction between the customer, vendors, and the internal project team to ensure that appropriate relationships exist to produce positive project outcomes.
- Provides insight and recommendations to Program Managers to drive the development of project goals, influence the prioritization of deliverables, and facilitate decisions necessary for project delivery.
- Adheres to enterprise project management practices by participating in formal and informal training sessions.
- Tracks and reports key metrics as needed.
- Gathers, maintains, and communicates lessons learned and feedback to team members, management, and the larger project management community.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 10+ years of project management experience working on projects involving the implementation of project life cycle methodologies.
- Experience influencing and managing project teams without formal direct reporting relationships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PMI based project management competency areas and methodologies and experience applying these methods to manage successful projects.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and experience leveraging these skills to interact with all levels of management.
- High-level understanding of IT infrastructure and application architectures desired.
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle EBS
- Can build a comprehensive project plan - experience planning, monitoring, managing tasks - entire company acquisition activities into new parent company.
- Manage technical infrastructure project
- Manage and track server patch & schedule
- Track volume of patches and track completion
- Manage rollout of End Point management tool
- Responsible for scheduling and managing Email Tenet migration
- Manage networking and fileshare migrations to sharepoint
- Be able to ask questions and know if they received what they are asking for (technical ability). Asking the right questions.
- Leadership presence, experience with Steerco meetings, presenting up to executive level leadership.
- Clear, concise communication style.
- Lead and guide project team to meet deliverables/drive project tasks.
