We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with a strong background in working with Federal/State Government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing relationships, securing contracts, and driving revenue growth within federal government agencies. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting federal agencies, prime contractors, and other government entities.
  • Identify and evaluate market trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the federal sector.
  1. Business Development:
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within federal agencies, leveraging existing relationships and developing new ones.
  • Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Sources Sought Notices.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with federal decision-makers, contracting officers, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for federal clients and partners.
  1. Partnership Development:
  1. Develop strategic alliances with other vendors, small businesses, and prime contractors to expand opportunities within the federal market.
  1. Revenue Generation:
  1. Meet and exceed sales quotas through effective planning, client engagement, and execution.
  1. Ensure a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to sustain growth.
  1. Compliance and Regulations:
  1. Maintain a thorough understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFAR) and ensure compliance in all dealings.
  1. Ensure contract terms and agreements align with federal requirements and company policies.
  1. Reporting and Analytics:
  1. Maintain detailed and accurate records of business development activities in CRM systems.
  1. Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, challenges, and forecasted revenue.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in business development or sales, with a focus on federal government clients.
  • Proven track record of securing federal contracts and meeting sales targets.
  • Experience working with GSA schedules, IDIQ contracts, and other federal contracting vehicles.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of federal procurement processes and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with federal clients and partners.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and pipeline management.
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
